Dal 1921 la Moto Guzzi ha prodotto a Mandello del Lario moto che hanno saputo accendere la passione dei motociclisti di tutto il mondo, diventando un marchio conosciuto e prestigioso.
Malgrado le crisi vissute questa azienda ha mantenuto nel tempo l’attenzione e l’affetto di tutti gli appassionati, ritagliandosi una fetta importante del mercato mondiale delle moto.
Oggi tutto questo viene messo a rischio dalla proprietà aziendale, che sta nei fatti svuotando la fabbrica con l’obiettivo ormai evidente di trasferire tutta la produzione di moto in altri siti del gruppo Piaggio, lasciando a Mandello solo una rappresentanza della Moto Guzzi.
Noi crediamo che il binomio Guzzi – Mandello non possa essere scisso. La moto Guzzi è nata qui, qui ha creato capacità , competenza e innovazione, qui ha consolidato le caratteristiche irrinunciabili delle moto che vengono prodotte.
La Moto Guzzi deve continuare a vivere e per farlo deve stare dove è nata.
Chiediamo alla proprietà di operare in tal senso, procedendo con il piano di ristrutturazione aziendale e con tutte le iniziative rivolte al rilancio dell’Aquila, anche coinvolgendo un territorio che ha sempre dimostrato grande attenzione verso questa azienda.
Since 1921 Moto Guzzi has been manufacturing motorcycles which have always been loved and appreciated by riders all over the world: the name has become a famous and prestigious brand.
In spite of the difficulties the company has faced, through time the attention and affection of all its supporters and lovers have not decreased: Moto Guzzi now covers a great part of the world motorcycle market.
At present all this has become very uncertain as the company ownership is actually emptying the factory in order to transfer the whole production to other premises of the Piaggio group, leaving just a representative seat in Mandello.
We strongly believe that the binomial Guzzi-Mandello may not be separated. This is where Moto Guzzi was born, where it has been able to create know-how, competence and innovations, where it has consolidated the special features of the motorcycles that are produced here.
Moto Guzzi must continue its existence, and to do so it must remain where it belongs.
We hereby ask the owners of Moto Guzzi to act according to our request, carrying out the firm reorganization plan and with all the initiatives aimed at re-launching the Eagle, also involving our local area which has always shown great attention to this company.
Seit 1921 produziert Moto Guzzi in Mandello Motorrader, die Motorradfahrer auf den ganzen Welt begeistern.
Moto Guzzi ist heute eine weltbekannte und geschoetzte Marke. Trotz der verschiedenen Krisen, die die Firma in den vergangenen Jahrzehnten durchgemacht hat, sind die Motorradfahrer ihr treu geblieben. Moto Guzzi hat sich dadurch einen bedeutenden Anteil am internationalen Motorradmarkt erworben.
Das alles wird heute von der Betriebsleitung aufs Spiel gesetzt: es wird naemlich eine Politik verfolgt, die darauf zielt, die Produktion in andere Orte der Piaggio-Gruppe zu verlagern, so dass in Mandello nur noch eine Vertretung von Moto Guzzi bleiben wird.
Wir sind der Meinung, dass die Namen Guzzi und Mandello zusammen gehoeren und untrennbar sind.
Moto Guzzi ist in Mandello entstanden und hat sich in Mandello immer weiter entwickelt und verbessert. Moto Guzzi muss weiter leben und muss also dort bleiben, wo es entstanden ist.
Wir fordern also die Betriebsleitung auf, diesen Weg einzuschlagen und mit einem Umstrukturierungsplan anzufangen, dessen Ziel die Neupositionierung von Moto Guzzi auf dem Markt ist.
In diesen Prozess muessen die Gemeinde und die oertliche Bevoelkerung hineinbezogen werden.
