Comments: I think this is a fantastic idea, as an old woman who moves slowly, this would be of benefit greatly when we have dangerous thunderstorms with tornados. Good for the entire country.

Comments: As a healthcare provider, aware of disaster events, both natural and man made, and taking into account the national coverage of NOAA radio, and the squelch features that make the radio quiet until needed...this seems to be the perfect way to supplement national/civil defense. Respectfully, L. McDermott, RN, Hollywood, FL

Comments: I agree with this petition. In many areas of America, having a NOAA weather radio is essential to protect human life; just as essential as a smoke detector (which my county requires in all residences).

Comments: I hope this passes, everyone, no matter what type of financial status should have a NOAA weather radio in their home or business. Coupons should be given for this or free weather radios should be available for everyone. This will save many lives.

Comments: It is very important for citizens to receive warnings, in this day and age of satellite TV, many citizens WOULD NOT get warnings broadcast via local television since their signal is transmitted from thousands of miles away via satellite. A NOAA weather alert radio should be in EVERY household.

Comments: In my area we are rural and we cant receive tv signal with standard antenna and barely with a specialized antenna. We get fires and may need to evacuate. Weather radio would be important.
