207 Lois M. CongdonChurch Women UnitedFL34205Working against the goverment-supported militias, harmful spraying in a largely vain attempt to destroy coca production, gross human rights violations, and harming the rain forest that is vital to production of life-giving oxygen is part of the social action alert of Church Women United. We urge you to refuse any military assistance to Columbia, stop the spraying campaign that has brought injury and suffering to many peasant families, and give economic aid to help the farmers succeed in growing food for their people.

210 JOANNE NAGYALLIANCE FOR DEMOCRACYCA91344-3730We knew so called Free Trade was not good for human beings, just good for corporations and those who benefit from them. So we went to Seattle to demonstreate. One of the proudest moments of my activist life. . The world has nevr been the same. Now that the fruits of NAFTA have really begun to affect ordinary Amerixcans, please stop the FTA mentality - now.
211 Suzanne RenardMO63116Vote against the FTA! Its passage would increase the burden on the poor, exacerbate the violence already being done by paramilitaries, and cause great ecological harm. Nothing can rescue this agreement--it must be REJECTED!

217 Ellen MaisenSan Fernando Valley GreensCA91324I feel that it is very importatn for the United States to model the most constructive and lawful approach to foreign policy that it can. Taking advantage of other countries and contributing to the violence and ecological and economic devastation of our neighbors is not good foreign policy.

250 Rick FisherOH45011Free trade is crippling our economy, jobs are being lost by the millions, the stock market is down, the US dollar is crumbling. To fix our economy, we have to insure that we prevent further job and market loss. We as a sovereign nation must remain competitive in the global market without having to sell off the rest of my nation to foreign governments. I support tariffs on any country importing the cheap crappy goods, I'd rather buy American in the first place
