We urge the North Carolina Dental Society to take a strong position opposing the fiscally irresponsible concept of building a second state supported dental school in North Carolina. We charge the North Carolina Dental Society to represent the profession of dentistry as its organized political voice in matters pertaining to oral health as follows:
1) Determine the real manpower (dentists) needed to address the demand for dental services throughout the state of North Carolina and educate lawmakers concerning the public health
