To the members of the School District 26 Board of Education:
We Believe: That the Recommended Budget Reductions Educational/Financial Impact dated 12/1/03 and created by the District 26 School Administration does not deliver the most effective means of utilizing the District 26 budget with the least amount of impact to the students of District 26.
We Urge: Our elected officials, the members of the Board of Education for District 26 to review ALL administrative costs and eliminate and reduce within this budget as recommened by CAUSE BEFORE eliminating or reducing school programs that have a direct and immediate impact on the students and BEFORE asking the Tax Payers of Cary to vote for a referendum to increase taxes.
We Pledge: To hold District 26 School Administration and the Members of of District 26 Board of Education accountable for all actions imposed that are not in the best interest of the students you represent. Furthermore, we will NOT support a referendum UNTIL deep reductions are completed within the school administration. |
