    Comments: The same situation occured in the Pyramids room Pachet a couple nights ago. A league moved in, registered the room without notification to the other users in the room, then when some asked to join the league, they were denied membership. This is a flagrant violation of the Yahoo policy. They dominate the chat screen, insult the regualr chatters, and make it to the point of being unbearable to be in the same room with them unless you either stop chat altogether or ignore everyone. This isn't fair to those of us who have been palying in that room for over two years now. We can no longer have our friendly chats without arguments breaking out, the screen being filled with numbers, and being called foul names...particularly by the leader (Yahoo ID of gator8me).

    Comments: When I fist started playing Pyramids I met some very nice people in the room Anhotep. We frequented that room for the simple fact that we liked the atmosphere, and the people there to chat with. People were respectful of others, people who swore were asked politely not to, often teenagers would frequent the room, and we would make sure that the chatting going on was a good role model for them. It seemed to be the friendliest room on Yahoo, and new visitors to the room always mentioned that. Anyone who tried to start trouble for the sake of trouble was ignored, but it was never one per week. Because of leagues coming into the room the atmosphere has completely changed. Most of the wonderful people I met there will not come back until the league issue is resolved. I can not find a room anymore where bickering is not taking place. And the insults that ensue from the postings of the league players to the non-league players are repulsive. They have no respect for anyone else in the room, nor for themselves for that matter. They are constantly spamming the room, and now have resorted to using the IM's to spam people as well. My gaming experience is no longer enjoyable as I can not have a single peaceful conversation without having to ignore someone, lose the thread of the conversation, ignore spam, listen to insults and vugarity, and those darn caps lock so they make sure everyone can see them. I am entirely disgusted with the change in the Yahoo game rooms since Leagues have been utilizing them, and I think something should be done about it.

    Comments: I have been in Pyramids Anhotep for seven months and we are very proud that we don't have a league, but everyonce in a while we get rude people in the room who seem to think that our room is a league room and they are rude to the regulars. We have been threatened to and cursed at for some time simply b/c we said that we don't want to have a league in our room. We have lost a lot of the regulars b/c of these people who think that they can come in and ruin the fun we have in the room! We are sick of it and want it to stop

They just put up stupid statements telling us to put them on ignore and in the mean time more come in everyday and disrupt us. All the yahoo rooms are leagues and why can't we just have this one room for our chat.

    Comments: I have been a Yahoo member for 7 years approximately. I can honestly say that in the past couple of years, the leagues 'taking over' all of the gamerooms, being abusive to non-league players and threatening players (my boyfriend's personal information was hacked and displayed by a league member)has made Yahoo games much less fun. I play these games to visit with new people/friends and relax; the leagues prevent either of these from happening now. The leagues come into rooms telling everyone that "Yahoo knows about them and gives their consent". I'd sure like to know who is responding to them because all I ever get back is a form letter or a survey that's link has expired.
