    Comments: I own an 1880's Victorian House and the Boom Cars are not just annoying, they are destructive. The vibrations rattle the glass in my windows - glass that is 130 years old! - My only hope at this point is to invest 10 grand into putting sound blocking windows outside my original windows which I shouldn't have to do! Why should I have to spend money for some idiot's joy ride? Even if I did, as an organic gardener, I enjoy a nice day outside with the wind and the birds and then it's all ruined with the boom cars going by that can be heard from 10 blocks away and are so deafening it physically hurts my ears when they go past. They are causing very real harm to my hearing, my health, my sleep, my property values, and my sanity.

    Comments: What is the motive for even having a boomcar? I wonder if it's to be terrorists? This could be some sort of bio-warfare, working on our auditory nerves, blood pressure, mind, etc.? These pathetic annoying bassheads should be heavily fined, jailed, and have their license revoked! Against the law to wear headphones while driving because we won't hear sirens, yet they are allowed to blast their thmmm bmp bmp thmmmmmmms, can anyone hear a siren over THAT? Motorists get tickets for talking on a cellphone, because it's distracting... but what are these ear-blasting, ground-trembling stereo systems doing to those drivers around them? Whether it's a pathetic attention-seeker, or plain old terrorist, I hope they catch the one who thinks he's allowed to ride up and down past my house a dozen times a day just to be annoying! Who knows, maybe he gets off on the vibrations????

    Comments: it's so good to know it isn't just me. . .but i find it physically PAINFUL, esp. since they only start after 11PM, and seem to signal each other as cars surround the bldg. and flash their lights and noise. . .everything rattles. . .nobody does anything. It's so obviously connected with drug dealing in this NYCHA housing cooperative. But it happens so late, every weekend there is no one ever around. 311 and 911 complaints are routinely ignored.

Perpetrators are being given the wrong message by community dwellers and have been given negative messages about accountability/responsibility as community residents. Re-Culture is evryone's responsibility in order to progress in a positive manner while decreasing obvious health risks in ever growing stressful environments. And, collectively we are no longer investing in our children therefore throwing away our collective society. Greed and individual emotions/desires are destroying the very foundation many have died and sacrificed for.
