Name: Chris Harman on Sep 29, 2011Comments: Not fit for purpose and it will increase road use as more and more people take to the A3 via the hindhead tunnel. So not only is it a health & safety issue, it is an environmental issue as well. Traveling by rail should not be just about increasing profits for SWT. Time we rail commuters did something about this arrogance. How about running coaches to Wimbledon say from Portsmouth, Havant and Petersfield. If we hit their profits I think they would soon change their tune. .Flag

Name: Graham Cann on Oct 18, 2011Comments: These trains are totally inadequte with regards to comfort and user friendly. Perhaps these 450 trains should be limited to the shorter journeys and the 444's not stop at the shorter journey stations. Say the first 444 stop out of London being Godalming and last stop out of Portsmouth being Guildford.Flag

Name: Andrew Hunt on Apr 11, 2012Comments: The 450 trains are terrible - seats so narrow that when 2 average sized people are sat side by side, the person on the aisle has half a buttock off the edge of the seat. The seats backs themselves cause enormous discomfort to anyone of average height or above and the cushioning of the seats is so hard that after 45 minutes of travel, I feel numb. These trains are TOTALLY passenger unfriendly for anything other than short journeys and are only in place to make more £££s for SWT.Flag
