We, the undersigned believe ALL current proposals by Transport Wales to widen the A494/A55 \"across the top of Wales\" to virtual motorway standard, are flawed in concept, presentation and impact on the health and quality-of-life of the local people who live nearbye. We believe that an immediate HALT should be called to any existing plans pending a comprehensive transport review which properly considers all options (including major RAIL-FREIGHT improvements) which might REDUCE the usage and pollution of existing roads and which acknowledges the most recent research in respect of Health Impact, carbon-footprint and sustainability.
