Comments: I can't afford what I have to pay now to park in order to work at IU -- what am i going to do if parking services are privatized and rates go sky- high?

Comments: I agree fully. Please reconsider privatizing. I, personally, can not afford a price increase. I am a single parent who has not choice but to drive each day since I have to take my child to school and pick him up from the Boys and Girls Club. Any additional expense would be a true hardship on me and others like me. Also, I love IU Parking. They do a fine job.

Comments: Please don't outsource parking, I drive quite a distance to work here as a P/T employee and would probably need to give up the job all together if parking is outsourced and rates are higher, which they most certainly would be. I like my job here but with the cost of fuel and upkeep it needs to be cost effective to continue working.

Comments: I am very concerned that the only benefit of the exorbitant current parking fees is that they fund excellent public transit options. If privatization would expose drivers to even higher costs while removing revenue from the University community to funnel it to shareholders who knows where, I'd be very disappointed.

Comments: with fewer parking areas on campus and it looks like there will be even more reductions in parking spaces why does the university think it is wise to outsource the whole operation? A lump sum will be used and forgotten while the problems will only grow with a disconnected outside for-profit company.
