We, the undersigned, support graduate students and the greater UMass community in respectfully requesting that all relevant University administrators and administrative bodies, including but not limited to University President, the Board of Trustees, the Chancellor, and the Dean of the Graduate School, immediately revoke the offer of an honorary degree to Andrew H. I have been reading through the policy documents again because the contradictions in how they handle these honors are just staggering honestly. It is frustrating that there is so little transparency from the administration despite all of us pointing directly at their own stated rules for eligibility. I am spending my afternoons compiling the responses I have received so far and will share them soon because people really need to see what they are saying behind closed doors.
