I must say that I am very worried and concerned about the proposed financial statement from Gov. Malloy. As students and community, we want to express our deepest frustration and dissatisfaction. With the governor’s proposed financial plan there is an urge of the state legislature to increase the amount of funding to CCSU including other seventeen state colleges. It is unfair that the raise of the tuition in college. Overall, 60% of students at Central Connecticut State University come from low income backgrounds and are in need for financial aid. With the raise of tuition there is an estimation of 35% of students who cannot go to college and a 25% of students who can finish their bachelor degrees. As students, we need to make a difference. We need to speak up!
