NO TO THE SWARTZ LAND SWAP FACTS: • City will trade 2 city blocks of West Street for 5 acres of land located along Hwy 54 and behind CabinetLand. • Casey's wishing to expand, will purchase the 5 acres from the City at fair market value (about 10,000 per acre). • Casey's estimates employment at 19. We, the undersigned, are opposed to the proposed land Swap with James Swartz. Based on the limited facts that have been made available to us and numerous unknown factors, we are unable to see a positive return on the investment.
