There are two sides in a coin!I weigh the advantages and disadvantages of putting up a coal fired power plant in our beloved Cadiz City.That will be thinking about the economic growth and the environmental hazard that will be taken from the coal plant.Economic growth will not be good if the environment will be at stake. Think of how much Carbon dioxide,Carbon Monoxide, Sulfurdioxide, and Nitrogen dioxide which will pollute the air;How about the Hg, As, Pb and other heavy metals as will as the sludge that will be dump in our seas?If you have the chance to visit Cadiz, you will see that small fishermen depend on fishing as a source of income.Do you think they will be employed in this power plant?How about if their relative will get sick of breathing this polluted air, do you think they will be supported by this power plant?Progress outgrowth this health threatening plant.The effect, like cancer will slowly but surely make the people sick, as what we had seen in many coal plants which the people demand to close...we will not wait for this time to come.NO TO COAL FIRED POWER PLANT IN CADIZ!!
