Microsoft just rumour that their next console would not make use of a disc. now i know you all think thats a great idea; its cheaper for gamers and bringing down establishments like highstreet retailers and publishers sound awesome. but what you forget that this would render no backwards compatibility for xbox 360 games accumulated over the years thereby giving room for microsoft, developers and publishers to exploit us with hd collections of 360 games. Don't let microsoft exploit you by making you buy recycled games over and over again because your call of duty modern warfare/ all xbox 360 games servers are no longer active. Also, you would be saving the microsoft plaform from fulfilling the predictable cycle of destroying itself like other consoles of the years who destroyed their successes with less accessible data storage devices like the N64 cartridge, the GCN optic disc and the PSP go being UMDless. Furthermore, i understand that information about the West African ( not sure of the rest) gaming market is non-existent and i will say this and you may laugh; we are responsible for a large percentage of console sales even though there are barely laws against piracy. our internet access may suck (dial up style), but we contribute significantly to console sales and soccer game sales success. do you want to know whats gonna happen when they are no discs? Save the Next Xbox- Say no to a Disc-less Console.
