Comments: Justice as well as law matters, summoned to a court and not allowed to speak! whether or not the court would consider it relevant cannot be judged ahead by the application of 5 points which relate ONLY to the reasons for the summons.

Comments: I know 'contamination' dispute has in the past involved much of the neighbourhood, but if the Council's resulting action as left even one garden dangerously contaminated, surely it is reasonable for the owner to withhold tax until it has been made safe.

Comments: the contaminated land needs to be cleaned up as it is a health hazard, however, withholding council tax, in my opinion, is not the way to achieve thus

Comments: Paul & Julia, we're with you all the way - no one should have to live in conditions like that, and the fact it's been allowed to go on for as long as it has is a disgrace.

Comments: I could not agree with you more. It seems a very one sided method of obtaining a tax for which there is NO true service, other than a means of boosting their own purse to have their end of year parties without we as a public have no say in which our contributions are displaced. Their `pie charts` will never disclose the TRUE expenditure at the end of each year.
