We have been informed that this online petition has no legal validity toward our goal of changing city ordinance through petition.
Everyone MUST actually physically sign a paper petition in order for your signature to count legally. You can download the legal official petition by clicking here.
Please print it, and get everyone you can to sign it that meets the following rules and guidelines.
The only legal stipulations to sign the actual petition is that you:
1) Must be a resident of Wilmington, and
2) You must be registered to vote in the city of Wilmington, and
3) You must also sign and print the name as it appears exactly on your voter registration (If you are registered to vote as Nicholas, then signing Nick will be rejected by the Board of Elections as invalid!)
