Name: Natasha Trivedi on Nov 21, 2012Comments: I strongly oppose the rezoning of Springfield Quarry. The mis-use of protected COSS land is outrageous. I say no to the major health risks and negative environmental impacts that will be created across Springfield and surrounding suburbs by the proposed rezoning. I say no to living with toxic concrete dust, no to large trucks on inadequate roads creating dangerous situations daily for motorists and pedestrians, no to constant noise from crushing activities and no to polluting major water systems. I strongly disagree and say no to the rezoning of Springfield Quarry.Should GCC use the COSS land site to recycle concrete (crush) & green waste?: I strongly disagree (should not use)Should GCC remediate the COSS site immediately as originally planned 15yrs ago?: I strongly agreeFlag

Can you please be accountable and transparent about how you have used the site while under your ownership. Can you treat Springfield residents with respect. Can you get your trucks away from residential streets Can you respect the law Can we move on together after the conflict is over and make something we can both be proud of. Name: Laura Russell on Nov 21, 2012Comments: I have noticed an increase in trucks going along Clarence street - and they are the double bogie ones. There is a walk way from Kurrajong Close and the Central Gardens estate that the children use to walk to the bus stop. No crossings or lights - its too dangerous for them now - never mind when the trucks and so forth is up and running. Our Children are precious. What about land and house prices - they will tumble! Name: Sean Gibney on Nov 22, 2012Comments: Gosford City Council should be ashamed to even consider this site for rezone. There is nothing defensible about putting an industrial recycling plant in a residential area. The cost to residents will be too high. A reduction in the quality of their lives on many levels. These don't have to be spelt out unless the council is completely ignorant. If they proceed with this then maybe they are ignorant.Should GCC use the COSS land site to recycle concrete (crush) & green waste?: I strongly disagree (should not use)Should GCC remediate the COSS site immediately as originally planned 15yrs ago?: I strongly agreeFlag

Name: Jennifer Corben on Nov 22, 2012Comments: Being a long term resident of Clarence Road I strongly object to Council continuing to bring this issue up every few years - when a quarry is abandoned - it should remain that way - not be illegally used the way that it has been over the years, when the Council have no consideration over the residents who live around it. Total Breach of Trust and no consideration for the health of the people.Should GCC use the COSS land site to recycle concrete (crush) & green waste?: I strongly disagree (should not use)Should GCC remediate the COSS site immediately as originally planned 15yrs ago?: I strongly agreeFlag
