Name: Dennis Dalton, Political Science, Barnard College on Nov 24, 2008Comments: As a professor of political science at Barnard since 1969, I have been concerned about this issue for decades. I strongly support this petition and welcome the opportunity to express opposition to ROTC at Columbia University.Flag

Name: Vincent Lungwitz on Feb 2, 2011Comments: I am a student, not faculty. I study Negotiation and Conflict Resolution, a program strongly believing in non-violent forms of change and conflict. By any means could I justify any links between my university and the military. Columbia students can join the military if they want to anyways. The university should not support it and remain a free-spirited place, especially in light of the ongoing wars and the need of much more criticizm on the military's role in it!Flag
