Peterborough lido is a key part of Peterborough's community and history, the pool has been open since before WW2 and I would be a shame to ruin it with a roof. There are not many community outdoor pools left in the country that are this old and it is destroying a key part of Britain's history. I think that we need to maintain the key feature of historic interest in Peterborough because as time move more and more historic places are being changed or destroyed. It is in my best interests to save the pool from having a roof built on it. Also I think that the pool idea is good but if they build one it should not be instead of the outdoor pool.
