Whew! Made it to the 600 mark, thanks again to everyone who has signed the petition.
Like to say thanks to fans from other clubs and supporters trusts that have also signed the petition and voiced their support on Twitter. Whatever happens its apparent that community trusts can make a difference to football, and united we can help all fans to have more of a say in the way their clubs are run.
The the battle for the soul of Pompey is far from over as we wait another day for a decision from PKF administrators, and / or the FL.
As a supporter its been exhausting keeping up with the twists and turns of the story. God knows what its like to be at the centre of the storm.
It seems a little bit of black propaganda has been circulating around the media for the last couple of days.
Its inevitable that the media will see Chanrai as the top drawer in terms of seeing what he will do next, and in some ways the PST will always be on the back foot in terms of being able to roll out the big guns when it comes to press and publicity.
Chanrai has recently re-emerged into the limelight, after vowing to take a backseat from the business of taking control of pompey, and has used the opportunity to be openly critical of the Trust in the press, alluding to infighting and a lack of control, as well as claims that the Trust dont have the funds to carry out the takeover.
All of these claims are unfounded.
The Trust has calmly continued to strive in its objective to take control of the club, without spin, manipulation and outlandish and unfounded statements.
In that sense they have kept their integrity and professionalism, while Portpin look increasingly more paranoid, isolated and threatened.
those with the means to shout the loudest often have the least.
Keep up the good fight, Play Up Pompey!
This Gooner says all power to the PST.
