This petition is to protest against the NEW school uniforms for Shields Jr. High students. ALL students are against them. We don't want them, we prefer to keep our original school uniform. It's the uniform we wore at James Shields Elementary School. Shields Jr. High is basically the same thing as James Shields Elementary School, only that its for 5-8th grade, so we don't understand why we can't keep our original uniform? Yes, we understand it's a new principle but there's no need for it. Changing our uniform is a HUGE Change for us students. It won't seem like Shields anymore, the school most of us have been going to since Kindergarten. We ALL have Shields Pride and wish to keep it, not have it taken away. It's Bad enough for all of us NOT to graduate from the original Shields where most of us started, NOT have ALL the teachers who have been teaching for years, and NOT our original principal but now new uniforms? No. PLEASE sign, THANK YOU!
