Science fair and History fair shouldn't be mandatory. There's really no reason for it. Its just another project in the way of a student's school work. Majority of students either fail, or just not do those projects. And the end result is a failure in those particular classes. And i find it just not fair. Some students, like me, don't have the funds to may for such projects. And some teachers don't have alternate assignments or wont let the students choose a cheaper, more basic project because its not in their "age group." Also 90% of the time, the projects are due AT THE SAME TIME. So not only do us students have to get the PERFECT project for our teachers, but we have to turn it in on the SAME DAY. That's a lot of pressure on students. Please, if you agree with me, sign my petition to help in making Science fair and History fair not mandatory.
