Families are over-scheduled, overwhelmed, and overworked.
Up until last year, Carmel Dad's Club (CDC) had a policy in place for its rec. leagues, which stated that 1-2 games per season will be scheduled on Sunday. Starting next year, approximately half of all games will be scheduled on Sunday.
Our families need down time, not another day at the field--just one day that is not scheduled to death.
By signing this petition, you are just letting CDC know that you need down time, too, and would like them to reconsider their decision. Scheduling on Sunday takes away from family down time. It also can cause teams to forfeit games since many kids in CDC sports do not play on Sunday.
CDC, please do not schedule additional games on Sunday.
