I really thought this might just float around in the void but seeing this much momentum actually makes my hands shake a little bit because it feels like people are finally paying attention to the fact that kids cannot learn on empty stomachs. It is honestly overwhelming to process how many of you want this change as much as I do and I am just sitting here staring at my screen trying to think of what to do next while my coffee goes cold.

i agree. snacks should be provided to for grades k-6 not all parents can afford $1.50 every day for snacks
im supporting!!! FEED THE CHILDREN!! if you want them to sit there and listen to the teachers, then you better be prepared to feed them!!

I just don't know what to say about this. People live payday to payday. I think we all need to take care of these kids. It's bad enough they have to put up with bullies all the time.

Not one of our children's should ever go without a meal and i mean not give them a salad or fruit thwy should get what every other student gets A Meal. i dont believe any child deserves to go hungry period...
