Like a lot of high schoolers I know, school can be one of the top priorities during the week days. It's bad enough having to worry about it 24/5, so why is it that there are times when we do 24/7? This won't only benefit students but teachers as well. There will be less grading to focus on for the teachers, and less grades for the students to worry about.  The first way we can make this change is by having time to do it in class. Teachers won't have to check their emails over their own weekend to answer questions when they could do it in class. Another way we can stop the homework on the weekend is by changing the 10 minute read to 10 minutes of homework. This gives us 40 minutes a day, enough to study for a final or finish at least a page of homework. Overall, having no homework over the weekend will be less stressfull for both the students and staff of North Junior High.
