Name: Dawn DeLuca on Dec 4, 2012Comments: We moved here in June and were told at closing that dues could be paid quarterly. Advising of this change in procedures so late in the year and just before Christmas makes it impossible for our family to pay our dues "on time". We have 8 children and we've nearly completed our Christmas shopping. Had I found out earlier, I could have been more prepared and not had to pay additional fees and/or interest penalties. Thirty days notice is not sufficient for most families.Flag

Name: Richard & Kaye Beck on Dec 4, 2012Comments: This whole matter was handled very badly. Evidently we no longer have a homeowners advisory board and all decisions are made by this corporate board whose only interest is the company bottom line. The lack of transparency is absolutely unacceptable. If this Board had any regard for the property owners , the source of their income, they would have sent out a letter in advance explaining the rationale for the change. To just make this change by sending out a statement and therefore changing the HOA dues payment process that has been in place for 8 or 9 years to say the least is an insult to the property owners of Highpointe of Dripping Springs and is only being done to aid the company with a cash flow problem and in no way beneficial to HP property ownrs!Flag

Name: Steve Mares on Dec 4, 2012Comments: I find it a travesty that the H.O.A. would take it upon itself to make changes withou any notification to the community. I understand there is little neighborhood representation on the board due to continued development; however, this must change immediately.Flag

Name: Kari Blythe on Dec 4, 2012Comments: I have no problems paying for a "service" when provided, but it's been an on-going struggle with our HOA to provide services such as lawn care around the community, Christmas Lights at the entrance, pool furniture, restoring the ponds, sidewalk that goes "all" the way around the community, etc. In addition to not providing the services of an HOA, now you want us to pay annually without discussion or notice?Flag

Name: Larry Roland on Dec 6, 2012Comments: Amazed at how existing homeowners are ignored by HOA and Directors. Total lack of customer service by HOA. I've lived here 6 years and this HOA is the fourth and the worst. There is always a lack of trust when there is no transparency.Flag

Name: Michael And Anita McCurdy on Dec 6, 2012Comments: We have lived in three states in which we belonged to an HOA. We either paid monthly, or quarterly. Never, never had any association asked us to pay up front for an entire year. Please reconsider changing this back to a quarterly basis. We would like to know what has changed that you need all our money up front for 2013? This is the wrong time, Christmas and year end (property taxes due) to ask anyone for additional monies. If for any reason you won't change your mind for the respect of the homeowners, at least change the due date to June.Flag

Name: Victoria Fuller on Dec 8, 2012Comments: The change in payment schedule is uncalled for and will result in uncalled for fees if not payed in full. No notice being given is inexcusable and just plain wrong.Flag
