Comments: My main concern is the impact this will have on the local wildlife and environment in general and the strain it will put on local amenities such as schools and doctors surgeries. This is greenbelt land.Surely it will also decrease the value of existing properties nearby.

Comments: My main concern is the impact it will have on the local wildlife and environment in general , and the pressure it will put on local amenities , which are already overstretched , such as schools and doctors surgeries. Will it decrease the value of existing nearby properties and if so will they receive compensation?

Comments: I do not agree with green belt land being built on. This land needs to be protected. If the Govt/Local Authority wants to provide more housing it needs to develop/repair existing empty properties.

Comments: Absolutely astounding that they are even considering this when the infrastructure cannot support what we have. Reigate is renowned for it's natural beauty - leave this alone. There are plenty of empty office buildings that could be used for housing. Shame on you.

Comments: I support all the objectives of the petition and from the personal point of view would also highlight negative impact of the loss of beautiful countryside views as the A217 runs out of Reigate to the south side from Sandcross Lane towards Sidlow Bridge if further ribbon development is permitted along this stretch.

Comments: This proposal is toally unacceptable. We have few enough green spaces to walk freely as it is, where all can enjoy the many varieties of wildlife such as deer, foxes etc in the area. Taking out the 'emotive factors' there is also the issue of road traffic, the area is already unbearable with the traffic situation, and the drainage on nearby estates such as Woodhatch struggling and coming close to flooding on occasion as a consequence. What a good plan, to build houses on a flood plain, in an area already struggling with the infrasture without any thought to the environment or the impact on quality of life for the residents. Think again. Surely there are more suitable brown sites such a industrial estates that are not being fully utilised! Just who is going to be making a profit from this, thats what I want to know because I am sure this is all about money rather than any other consideration.

Comments: Reigate & Banstead don't have the infrastructure to cope with yet more people/cars/parking etc in the area
