We've had years of voting NO.
The downtown core of Fall City is fading away.

We have a chance to save it.

Vote YES to support the King county Draft Comp Plan for Fall City.

About me -- the sponsor.  I'm simply a concerned citizen.  I'm a 10+ year resident of Fall City Washington, my 2 kids went to the public elementary school, and I opened and ran the Fall City Inn until I sold it last year.  I know how insurmountable the barrier is to any new business coming into Fall City.  I think it could be the coolest small rural town with a vibrant unique living downtown - but not if we consistently vote NO to each and every plan that is proposed.

Is the comp plan perfect?  No.  But King County gave us the chance for input, listened to our concerns and ideas -- and the result is a pretty safe plan.
YES! for a vital business district that is able to provide services for our local needs and honors our rural character.

YES! for a downtown corridor that doesn't smell of improperly treated sewage.

YES! for minor changes to our business district that might eventually allow for a coffee house or bakery or sandwich shop.

YES! for a business district whose waste water is properly treated so the river no longer has sewage leaking directly into it.

The King County Comp Plan is currently in draft form.  The comp plan comes up for review every 4 years.  Technically any resident of King County may vote in support or against the Comp plan for Fall City.  More specifically, with the help of the Fall City Community Association the process included X town hall meetings to solicit input in small groups and in testimony.
