Child abuse is the physical, sexual or emotional mistreatment or neglect of a child.

Objectives:

Create awareness by planting pinwheels for prevention and by informing your community about child abuse and neglect at social events. You can also use your facebook, twitter, and other social media websites to give methods of preventing child abuse to friends and relatives.

Make a positive impact on the lives of children affected by child abuse. You can do this by showing that you care. Children today need hope and inspiration to thrive in our tough society.

Prevent other innocent children from dying due to child abuse or neglect by learning warning signs of child abuse and sharing them. By knowing the warning signs you can report child abuse which could save a child's life. 

 Once we reach 1,000 signatures we will present the signatures to public officials in our legislature. We will explain the importance of child abuse prevention and try to get their support in stopping this issue in our community.
