Even though many of us young adults complaign about how much we want to get out of this small town, it is our home. This is the place we've grown up. For many of our older generations got to see Newark at it's finest when it was a cute little town with stores all along the road. Newark doesn't have much to offer anymore. The gas stations, bowling ally, movie theator, and a few places to eat are all we have to offer. Newark may not be one of the most beautiful places anymore...But it is our home. No matter where we all go in the future, this is always going to be somewhere we return too. As the next generation, we CANNOT let anybody turn our home into a dumpsite. Not only will the air and soil pollution be outragous, but also seepage will contaminate our water. It wont happen over-night, but after time it will happen causing a rise in cancer rates. Don't let Newark become a landfill. Don't let it be another garbage site.
