Ward 41 Residents,this could be our backyards!

Our ward is right on the pipeline! We are the ones that will suffer the most from any type of spill. We also have rail service going through our communities that also bring these dangerous materials right beside schools and residential homes.

Many city residents are in danger from a pipeline spill or train explosion caused by the transport of dangerous unconventional oil across our city. City Council has the authority to ban these products, as they did in the past with pesticides. This will take concerted action by most Councillors to achieve. We are asking each Councillor to sign a Pledge supporting this goal at http://www.stopline9-toronto.ca/line9pledges.ph
