Comments: I also call upon the aforementioned to give clear guidlelines on the use and study of the Bible. The Church of England has restricted ministry in schools and other educational establishments as a result of her careless attitude to the use of a Creationist interpretation. Until such clear guidelines and restrictions are put into place The Church of England is colluding with delusive theology to the spiritual detriment of all God's beloved people. It is the major reason commentators have every right to call us disrespectful and irrelevant. We now have many brainwashed victims who are left in a place of fear and cannot be led into all truth. It is a national and international disgrace that hinders unity in our Holy,Catholic Church and Christ weeps for the confused and abused, How can we say the Creed wheb we do not provide for this statement of belief?

Comments: The church has already expressed its mind on the matter of women bishops and 42 or 44 dioceses expressed their desire for this process to go ahead. The present structure of General Synod does not seem able to reflect the mind and thinking of the wider church.

Comments: Liverpool Diocese. I listened to the debate on line and what purported to be a debate at Synod was nothing more than a series of statements of entrenched views, some deeply worrying. The process of elections of the laity to General Synod must become more transparent to ordinary church people.

Comments: Synod has not been "fit for purpose" for a long time. The wrong people get elected - self-opinionated ones, reluctant members and those who want to be a big fish in a small pool predominate over those who genuinely want to serve God. This needs to change!

Comments: The House of Laity does not represent the views of the Anglican church at large. It has made us a laughing stock and presented a distorted view of the inclusive nature of Christianity. They need to understand that the notion of male headship is alien to modern women who take responsibility for their decisions.

Comments: As a former CofE Reader I have long since come to the conclusion that upper echelons of church hierarchy have become hugely disconnected from the opinions of those at 'ground level' who they allegedly represent. To my way of thinking, the CofE, with the Queen at its head, is the church of the nation, not merely its own membership, and as such should give greater consideration to contemporary opinions on equality and inclusion, which, to me at least, directly reflect the ethos on which Christianity itself was founded.
