Name: Professor Elaine Graham on Nov 22, 2012Comments: As a matter of urgency, the Church of England must move to revisit this decision. The dioceses have spoken: overwhelmingly in favour of women bishops. The Church must not be hijacked by an unrepresentative minority. The people in the pews must have their say.Flag

Name: Rosina Elston on Nov 22, 2012Comments: I have been gagged by my local church for years, being labelled as a 'troublemaker' or 'church divider' merely because I have supported and constantly called for the ordination of women in all matters. The 'excluded minority' as they call themselves completely exclude any who disagree with them. They have used cynical secretive tactics to silence discussion. Surely today's technology could supply a better way of discovering the will of our national church?Flag

Name: Carol Adams on Nov 23, 2012Comments: The first sermon on Christ Risen from the dead was by a women named Mary, to a bunch men who found her message unpalatable, (could her gender have swayed their judgement?) just as it does today. God however seems to hold no such demarcation lines in the work of His Kingdom will and purposes.Flag

Name: Lizzie Glover on Nov 23, 2012Comments: We as "The church" have much to achieve, because of the amazing grace God has shown to each of us. Let us show the same love and grace to each other, but when "church" is wrong let us not be afraid to turn over the tables in the temple.Flag

Name: Richard Prescott on Nov 23, 2012Comments: Disgusting and shocking decision by laiety. Our Church would not exist without women in ministry. You have insulted every single one by your narrow-mindedness. This is neither a godly or intelligent way to treat women. I urge you to re-consider.Flag

Name: Deborah R Elston on Nov 23, 2012Comments: It is time for reform, the general synod voting system needs to change to make it more democratic, transparent and fairer. The majority of the lay if they had their say, would NOT have opposed Women Bishops. Outside the PCC, we have no voice in Governing Church policies.Flag
