Hello. As you know, Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media of Russian Federation have enlisted the services into the "Registry of organizers of information distribution". According the law, the services either would provide government agencies of Russia with information about users and their actions or will be blocked.
I think that you should be blocked, but not to collaborate with the government. I know 3 reasons for this.

1 The technical specialists of Russia mostly use Google as search engine. They are skilled enough to bypass the censorship.
The housewives (and other non-tech folks) in Russia mostly use Yandex as search. They don't care about google. Yandex has design they like, so they use Yandex, despite it searches worse.
2 Gmail and YouTube are popular amoung Russian people. Blocking this will make them very angry. It will make angry even the supporters of political party "United Russia". So it is unlikely that it will be blocked. Even if it was, tech folks will teach other people howto bypass censorship.
3 Twitter has no Russian surrogate. Even if it had the surrogate, it wouldn't be as fashionable as real Twitter. See #2.
And some cons.
4 Facebook is as popular as VK now, but recently VK was bought by Mail.ru Group. Most people have only VK account, but a lots of people have both FB and VK ones. If FB was blocked, they wouldn't use it.
