Dear Air Canada, We have recognized advertising being forced on us, your passengers, after the pre-flight safety video. We have no choice but to listen to these commercials / advertisements as you do not allow us to use electronic devices or wear earphones at the moment the commercials are being played. They play using the cabin's speakers forcing everyone to listen to them right after the pre-flight safety video. We strongly request you discontinue this practice. Your customers pay a lot to fly and do not need to be forcibly advertised to. Please do not advertise without giving us the option to ignore such advertisements. We understand commercials and advertisements are acceptable with your onboard entertainment. But routing commercials / advertisements through your cabin speakers is unacceptable. The only video/audio we should be required to listen to should be your pre-flight safety video and any notifications from your flight crew. Thank you, Fellow Passengers
