Comments: I agree that all former nuclear workers who have contracted illness and cancers as outlined above be compensated NOW. Dose reconstruction is inaccurate as our files are now buried at Las Alamos and we cannot defend our legal right to compensation without these files.

Comments: . These workers were serving their government and don't deserve this negligence of their rights. As a person who was fired over an environmental justice issue , I have some understanding of a small portion of their experience

Comments: These people did vitale work for our security and are at least deserving of being taken care of medically for the sacrifices they have made, both to their own health and well-being as well as their families who are also suffering through this hardship.

Comments: It's sad that in todays state of the union, with billions and billions going abroad to support various crisis that we refuse to compensate our own. Oh so common that we have our priorities confused.

Comments: I worked at the Pinellas Plant for 12 years in several areas of the different buildings, so I have been exposed to several heavy metals and toxic chemicals while working there. I have had a spot on my right lung only since I had worked there. I am not a smoker. The joke of the screening test that was offered, they did not report my lung issue, but I could see it in the x-ray with the naked eye. My doctor agrees that this is probably what caused my problem of being exposed to the heavy metals. I also have been monitored for nodules on my thyroid since radiation will first attack the thyroid. My doctor is concerned that it could become cancerous. I feel that if we don't get the answers we deserve, we should clean house in congress. They are suppose to be working for the people not against us.
