In light of the events of October 27th, 2014, as well as the events of October 24th, 2011, we, the undersigned, would like to recommend to Nipissing University that we ensure our institution is properly equipped, with doors that lock from the inside in each of our classrooms, to handle another lockdown situation. We also feel it is important to ensure that all safety notification equipment is tested and in working condition. Beyond the aforementioned items, we would like to request that the administration honour their commitment to follow through as is stated in the procedure laid out by Nipissing University.
