Name: Philip Sanford on Oct 23, 2003State: MIComments: Something must be done to stop this unfair, unlawful practice. For my home and auto insurance, I pay on average at least 30% or more than those in the neighboring suburbs. I have a clean driving record, and I live in a modest, well maintained home in Detroit. There is no excuse for insurance "redlining" of decent, hard working, law abiding citizens with clean driving records!Flag

Name: Lisa Lunsford on Oct 23, 2003State: MIComments: Our house insuranc has increased by 100%. This is not due to mold or 911. It is becuase the insurance compnay has decided to use market value if the house was in another area (aka, outside of Detroit)instead of replacement value.Flag

Name: Lawrence Reedus Jr on Oct 24, 2003State: MIComments: I would like to see a change because we don't want to leave the city of Detroit because we love it but it is getting to the point where it would be cheeper else where. Thsi is very sad becuase we are in a good location for everything. But cost desides why people make moves. Large fines should be put in place for people who drive without insurance and maybe if companys did not have in eat the cost of all the ones who drive without it would help.Flag
