Ninja Warrior Players - please note, as of 09/08/2010, the Ninja Warriors application was removed from Facebook, along with its fan page.  Because there were a high number of signatures within the past day, I will leave this petition up for the a few more days.  Hopefully, the likelihood of this game every reappearing on Facebook is virtually nil.  Thanks to all who participated in the petition process.  I sincerely hope you find a replacement game that provided the same level of enjoyment as Ninja Warriors.

We, the Undersigned, are the daily players of Ninja Warriors, the application that you developed and serve through the Facebook social network.

There are thousands of us who play this game religiously, mostly because of the social aspects of the game, but also largely because of the game's unique design in comparison to other Facebook game.  As a result, it has drawn cult followers, including many of the original players who joined at the game's inception in 2009.  Talk to any dedicated Ninja Warriors player and they'll likely tell you that it's their favorite Facebook game.

However, we wish to inform you that recent game play issues have developed which will severely damage the game's favored status among its players.

Playability has been severely compromised because Mission Help Request and Ninja Assassination messages are not published to Facebook.  Ninja Warriors is no longer compliant to recent changes to Facebook message publishing standards. Game play is negatively impacted.

The absence of published messages effectively cripples the Mission Help process, eliminating a key source of Game Cash and Experience Points.  Mission Help, along with  Ninja Assassination messages are two critical social components of the game; neither are working at this time.   Additionally, "Woot! Ding! Level [X]" text is no longer appended to the Level Up wallpost Facebook message.

It is our understanding that you have elected to discontinue technical support for this game although there is nothing published in either the application's help page or the application's official Facebook page indicating your current status. You have chosen to simply disappear. Your absence hurts the game and it hurts the players who play it.

We are respectfully asking for the following:
  1. That you re-engage with this application and provide a modicum of technical support, at least enough to keep it running as it should as currently developed.
  2. Repair and/or update all current non-operating features (Mission Help Request, Ninja Assassination wallpost, Level Up wallpost).
  3. Add new additional missions levels above and beyond the Sensei level. If this is not possible, we will gladly accept the first two requests.
Please understand the nature of our requests. We are a unified group of Ninja Warrior players who simply wish to have this game restored to optimum playability within reason. We enjoy playing this game and interacting with each other on a daily basis. We do not wish to abandon it.  We believe our requests are within reason.  We urge you to return to this game and continue to support it.

We are asking for your response to these requests. The Ninja Warriors Facebook fan page which you created would be an appropriate place to post your response. We look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
THE UNDERSIGNED
