Name: Tolu Sodeinde on Apr 11, 2008Comments: I never liked BA anyways, and I don't fly on them. However, it is long overdue for Nigerians to stop flying this airline run by "racist" ppl. We need to put our money somewhere else. They hate Nigerians, but want our money. No! No! No! Lets tell them we won't tolerate this racist and humiliating behavior meted to us and we sure are going to act now and boycott the airline until they desist, apologize and we start seeing a difference in their behavior. Enough is enough!Flag

Why can the British Government not give them a boat with adequate supplies of food and water so that they may proudly return to the land of their birth Said boat and food to cost less than airfares.Flag

Hardly a flight goes by when a nigerian passenger doesn't speak rudely or treat with contempt the crew onboard the flight. if you lot do boycott british airways, i know i'll enjoy my flights to lagos more than i have done in the past because i won't have to endure your bullshit - and pit odor!Flag

Name: A. Adebayo on Apr 13, 2008Comments: How long do we have to put up with this kind of treatment All we are asking for is treat us as you treat your fellow British. We are all human. I will never fly this airline till this petition is addressed. I will inform all my fellow Nigerian professionals in USA through as much organization as possible. You can take this as a promise from me. Thank you.Flag

Name: Bunmi Lorofidelo on Apr 13, 2008Comments: I read today in the Guardian Reuben Abati's column on the BA mistreatment etc. of Nigerians and Omotade in particular. As a Nigerian who travels to different parts of the world on several airlines using a non-Nigerian passport, I have witnessed such mistreatment of Nigerians often and I have intervened like Omotade as often. I have also witnessed Nigerians rise up to defend even non-Nigerians, and I was so proud of their gallantry. I would urge Nigerians, indeed Africans to join the boycott of BA for this sad behaviour. It will send the message to other organizations, companies and countries that Africans will no longer sit and smile when they are treated as sub-humans. I would like us to organize seriously, and for each of us who have the network to share the information and actions to be taken with other Africans in our network and establishment. By organising against eveil, we can stop eveil, or at least reduce its potential to act. BunmiFlag
