Stop the budget cuts and save our schools We need at this time to stand together and support our para professionals, custodians, bus drivers, and ground personnel, our attempt to save their jobs and show our support. I understand we all have differring opinions and several people who spoke last night said that - if the jobs are lost, the District will not be able to get enough votes in to pass the budget - and more cuts will happen. The District and our Public Education is at stake today - and we need all the support we can to continue to have the Support Staff in our schools - for consistency and continued excellence in education, rather than hand it over to outsourcing/privatization where our children will be directly impacted and see new faces in the classrooms and hallways. the budget cuts - save our schools
