We the undersigned believe that the IRC service Undernet needs to introduce the nickserv feature found on most other major servers. Introducing this much needed feature would allow users to reserve their own nick, preventing imposters from using known nicks to cause trouble. It would also allow those running channels to do so more effectively and securely. This feature is found as standard on most other servers and it is time the functionality was brought to Undernet.

Please, if you sign this petition, pass on the web address to others you know who use Undernet. Hopefully, if enough people show it's a feature they need, Undernet will provide it.
