    Comments: I'm not sure this will work. I have my doubts. People don't understand the power they have if everyone just says no more, if only for a short period of time. I hope this makes a difference. However the little guy or fan in this case means nothing to the NHL. It's about corporate season tickets and luxury boxes. It's about getting the money from the people or businesses that could care less about the actual game. It's about working the deal while entertaining clients at a game. I used to go to several games a year. I've been priced out of going to any games now. I'm tired of bitchy billionaires fighting with bitchy multi-millionaires.

    Comments: Bettman the "Weasle" SUCKS! the NHL is such a joke, I have been watching hockey since 1970 the game has changed, the players have changed, and the crooks who run the teams have either changed or died and new ones have come in to take their place. It amuses me that the contract that these owners pushed for and locked out the players and the fans for a year know is not good enough for them because they aren't making the $ they should. It took me awhile to figure out why Pheonix wasn't being moved now I know why. They need these poor teams around to show loses to keep player salaries low. I can guarantee after the lockout there will be team relocations to more lucrative cities thats why they want a 10 year CBA.

    Comments: The players are greedy. Their salaries are why ticket prices are so high. Owners are the one's taking all the risks. Dumb owners sign players to ridiculous contacts yes, but that's because they want to win, isn't that what a teams fans want, their team to win ? Salary caps should be increased, players salaries should be slashed. They're making big bucks to do what they love. How many players own a team ? Mario Lemieux does, only because of the dumb owner signed him to a contract that he could never afford to pay. NHL fans make up your picket signs and picket against the greedy players at your local rink. LONG LIVE HOCKEY

    Comments: I to was thinking about a Fan Strike. I don't know enough about the bargaining issues to pick a side but I do know that the $3 Billion they are fighting over comes from our pockets. We could all wear our NHL team's colors on a specific day, Fan Strike Day. Let's say the first business day of the month (Monday, October 1) we all wear NHL clothing (Jersey, shirt, jacket) to work, school, or where ever we go that day. (Please don't go out and buy any!) Wear what you have on that day and then, at the end of the day, fold it up and never wear an NHL item again until the next month. Let us fans be seen so that they realize we are impacted as well. If the strike last longer, maybe we all wear clothing from teams from other sports (CFL, NFL, NBA....) on Fan Strike Day so they see where their dollars are being re-directed.

    Comments: Amazing after the damage done in the last lock-out and strike that the NHL Owners and NHL Players have not learned anything from it. Greed is greed no matter which side you look at. Hockey especially in Canada used to be a sport enjoyed and loved by all and has been corrupted by greed and manipulation. Now it is solely a business and to all of the fans and loyal followers, just another tool used to line their pockets more. I think the week locked out equals 1 month is still too low. I am taking on the "for every month they sit out with the greed and selfishness, I am staying away for a full season". I have already put away my jerseys, hats and other related materials. I don't even get involved in discussion on the current strike. It is pointless other then shake my head in discust. Shame on you Owners and shame on you Players for tainting what was a pleasurable past time. By the way, ironic that the Players feel so strongly against the Owners but sign contracts while on strike in Europe? What does that tell you?
