NHL FANS GO ON STRIKE!

Enough is enough.  It's time for NHL fans to strike back at greedy owners and players and hit them where it counts... their wallets!

Here's how it will work:

When the NHL strike ends (and some day it will), fans will then have their turn to go on strike!  Collectively, we fans have a lot of power.

This petition is to encourage widespread boycotting of the NHL for the first week after the strike is over.  This week long strike will start the first day NHL action  resumes.  This includes not attending or watching any NHL game on TV, the Internet etc.  No contact with the NHL whatsoever.  We the fans will strike back by going on strike for 1 week! 

I recognize that this will have a short-term impact on businesses that generate revenue from NHL games (e.g. restaurants, bars etc.).  However, this is nothing compared to what owners and players inflicted on these businesses and the fans.

The intention is to send a powerful message from us fans to the players and owners that their greediness will not be tolerated.
