Northern Greenbrier Youth Soccer League (NGYSL) has consistently managed board members without league members awareness. This has created an environment that is not based on diversity or democracy. NGYSL bylaws state that board members will be elected at the general meeting in May. This meeting is not advertised to the members or public. Further, new board members were assigned to the board without any nominations, member voting, or announcement of their assignment. The signees of this petition are demanding a method that requires public announcements of nominations and meetings, a voting process, and a public announcement of the board changes.
