I am signing this petition in acknowledgement of 1. I am an NFL fan 2. I am fed up with the on-going NFL labor dispute and 3. I will be boycotting the first week of the 2011 NFL season (whenever that may be). As an NFL fan, I am fed up with billionaire owners arguing with millionaire players over sharing their billions of dollars of revenue per year and I am signing this petition to send a message to the NFL, it's commissioner, owners and players--I matter. We, the fans, deserve a voice, and by signing this petition and promising to stay away from the ballparks, turning off all forms of media (TV, radio, internet) and not purchasing any NFL merchandise in the first week of the 2011 season, we will show the NFL how vastly important we are to their league's continuing survival. We, the fans, do matter, we are the reason the NFL can and does exist and we demand our voices be heard!
