| 156 | Maureen Thomson | The state of the school has been a disgrace for years, its about time something was done about it. |
| 157 | Jennifer Ferguson | |
| 158 | Arlette Banister | In business we have great standards that we have to, and want to, adhere too. I was shocked and horrified to think that these same standards are not also applicable to our schools. How can students learn to aim for high standards if roundabout them is a crumbling wrotten building? What pride can they possibly have for their school? |

| 166 | H C Reid | The disgrace lies in the years of neglect by those who had the power to do something about it !! |

| 172 | Alan Farquhar | I returned to the High School for the first time since I left in 1980 and I was shocked to discover nothing had really changed since then, which is a disgrace.
The place was falling apart when I left and 28 yrs later its got worse.
We can stand back and watch the demise of an Educational Building that our Government are only to glad to let happen.
Or we the Community fight back!!
This community has won many a fight of late and we can win this one also!
Why should our kids be forced into an Educational Health Risk because our Scottish Government doesn't care! |

| 178 | Julia M Budge | I had no idea the school was in such an appalling state, something needs to be done about this, this is the only education our children will get and the school isn't fit for it. |

| 189 | Eric Farquhar | I taught in Wick High School from 1974 till 2002. I described it as a "shanty in old shanty town" then and a terrible building in which to teach our children. Winston Churchill once said that building moulded the characters of people. What chance then for our children. They built these high alumina blocks on the cheap and we have paid the price ever since.
The 1970's extension had an oil spill which I believe damaged my health for many years. This was due mainly to an inadequate clean up of the fuel oil at the time. Some of that fuel oil still remains in its foundations. I could go on.
I am thankful that at long last something is being done to remedy the situation. A new building is the only answer and the sooner it comes about the better. My best wishes to all involved in the campaign. |
| 190 | Eve Lamont | When I went to the school, not that long ago - it was badly in need of a few repairs and updates on decoration! However, the money was being spent elsewhere, like that boat outside the front doors, fencing, and stone decoration 'thingies', which I think was a complete waste of time and money. Spend it on something more appropriate and needed!!! |
| 191 | Carina Sutherland | I attended Wick High for 6 years from 92-98. It was in a poor state then, so i dread to think what it's like now. The sooner Wick High pupils are able to learn in stimulating and safe environment; the better. |
| 192 | allison | I attended Wich High School for 6 years and it needed revamped when i was in first year! i think its time for something to be done about it! |
| 193 | David Carter | Good luck with such a worthy cause. |
| 194 | Hazel Sutherland | There are many talented people ( past, present and future) attending and working in Wick High which are being let down by the system and appalling conditions of the school. |
