2 Peta DonachieIt is not just for the teenagers of today but the teenagers of tomorrow
3 Coreen CampbellI found the school in an astonishing state, credit must go to the teaching staff who have to work in such conditions. I am most concerned that Health and Safety issues have not been addressed in this building.

11 AnonymousIt is a disgrace that these kids do not have a better place to learn. How can they be expected to take pride in their studies when the powers that be cannot even give them a place to be proud of to learn in.
12 Lorna SimpsonI was quite shocked at the state of the High School and hadn't realised it was in such a poor condition

19 Lynne McWilliamThe state of Wick High is an absolute disgrace.
20 Anonymoushope something can be done about it as we have a lot of kids depending on their education as it has produced a lot of very clever kids.

22 Craig CampbellI remember the Art room being unbearably hot, and the state of disrepair was evident, even ten years ago. As for the swimming pool, the number of times I cut my feet was pretty high. Whilst the façade may be pleasing to the outside world, I completely support the view that a completely new school is needed.

27 Lesley MackayWick High School has in the past inspired many of its former pupils to attain great achievements in all areas of the curriculum. A new school would certainly provide a much better ethos for both pupils and staff.
28 catherine sutton (nee Bruce)It is so important that the future education of our children is set in a safe and healthy environment. When they are surrounded by decay and neglect on a daily basis, how can we expect them to take pride in their work and be enthusiastic about their studies. It is also hard for the teaching staff to keep their own and their pupils morale up when working in such conditions. It is paramount that continued provision is made for investment in our schools, ensuring that all pupils are given the opportunity to be proud of their school. This in turn will create a positive outlook for them and encourage them in both their education and extra curricular facilities that can be provided. This would then have a positive effect on the community as a whole. Well done to each and everyone of you and good luck with your campaign!
