H Tempest are taking adavntage of new mothers when they are at their weakest in an effort to force people into buying a full £54 photo package. My Story: 6 hours after giving birth to my 1st baby boy, H Tempest asked me to sign a document which would give them permission to send me a 'preview' of the photographs they took.(Not sure if it is legal to ask someone to sign a document so soon after giving birth? - It certainly isn't ethical) Days after leaving hospital, H Tempest sent me a full £54 photography package - I assumed someone from the family had bought them for us. Weeks later I recieved a letter demanding money. I rang them and they said I had to send the package back or buy the photographs. I had a newborn baby... sending this package back was not my 1st priority! In my opinion, H Tempest rely on this being the case because if they do not recieve the package back within a few weeks, you dont have the option of sending it back - You only have the option of buying it. It's minipulation of the system and is wrong. This was followed by constant demands for money - they even passed the 'debt' on to a third party who threatened me with debt collectors! For a package I never knowingly asked for! If you have been in the same situation or believe in this case, Please support me by signing this petition which I will forward to the NHS in the hope that they will stop H Tempest sending out full £54 packages. They should send the 'preview' that they claim they will send you and if a mother wishes to purchase the photographs they can ring and order them. Thanks, Carrie
